Retro desktop electric fan
This is a retro desktop electric fan, showing the typical characteristics of industrial design in the mid-20th century (about 1930 s to 1950 s). The design of the base and motor housing usually has streamlined lines, common in the appliances of that era. Brackets, blades and protective covers are usually made of cast iron or steel, which is very durable and has weight. Early fan blades were mostly metal or early plastic (such as bakelite) with unique shapes.
Old-fashioned electric heater
This is an old-fashioned electric heater (or space heater) with a retro industrial design, similar to the styles popular in the 1940 s or 1950 s, with handles and metal brackets for easy movement and support. It uses electric heating elements to emit light and heat, and the front is protected by a metal mesh cover. Mainly used for local heating in homes, offices or small studios.
